The ILS community has been showing school spirit through themed dress-downs and here’s how it’s been.

The first theme for the month of March was decades. Seniors had to dress up in outfits inspired by the 60’s, juniors were the 70’s, sophomores were the 80’s and freshman were the 90’s. This event sponsored by the Sophomore SGA Board featured activities held during lunch.

Day 2 of March Madness was Country Side VS Country Club. During lunch, the Junior Board hosted karaoke where students and teachers signed up to participate and sing!

Another March Madness theme was fighting stereotypes. Freshmen were Babies, sophomores were Camouflage, juniors were College Crazed and lastly, seniors had to dress up as Senior Citizens.
In addition, there was a St. Patrick’s Day dress down, where students were allowed to wear green and gold to show off the holiday’ spirit, organized by the Senior Board.

Wellness day was held on Wednesday as well. Hosted by SGA, Dippin Dots were sold during lunch and there were endless stations to attend during F Block. Ukraine has not been forgotten as all proceeds collected helped support the country.
The ILS community will keep on helping good causes and benefiting different communities through fun activities like these! We will definitely see more in the future.
