The ILS community has warmly welcomed the new girls basketball Coach, Danny Arguello.

Coach Arguello has been in the coaching field for over nine years, six years with boys basketball, and here at Lasalle will be his third season coaching the girls. Besides from coaching, Arguello loves his job working in the attendance office. He has adapted to the culture here at LaSalle quite well and is looking forward for the years to come.

Coach Arguello has previously worked at Mater Academy, where he had nine years of experience coaching boys basketball and teaching a marketing class.

“My goal here is to create a sustainable program for years to come,” said Coach Arguello.

So far Coach Arguello believes, “There’s a lot of potential for the girls basketball team, and it’s just a matter of us growing and how fast we can adapt to my system and style of play.”

With this mindset and power to work, the team is looking at a great season.

The girls basketball team looks like they have been put in good hands and are ready to take on the upcoming season. With hard work and discipline, they will be equipped and ready to defeat anyone in their path.

Coach Arguello has brought ILS a lot of positivity and many people are excited to start working with him. He is excited for his new year here at ILS and what ILS offers. He is looking forward to the new atmosphere and community.
