Mr. Wexler is not only an economic expert, but a master at billiards!

“I’d put [my winnings] in my shoes and just keep a few dollars in my pocket because the odds were that when I went from the student union to my home, I had a good chance of being robbed—which I was…three times.”

— Stanley Wexler

Believe it or not Mr. Stanley Wexler, the economics and finance expert, was robbed three times with a knife and even at gun point. It all went down in his first years of college; he was 18-19 years old and he had become a renowned pool table player at a hang out where many students—even from off campus and graduates— would join to bet on money. What he would do with that money though is stuff most of it in his shoe and some in his pocket very well knowing that he could be mugged—he betted on the right horse. So indeed, he lost a few bucks but most of his pool money was his to keep and we can tell he knew how to use it.
