Blast from the Past: Alum Elvis Cruz ’75 Shares ILS Memorabilia

The Fight Song disappeared from use in the late 80’s when there was no football team. Now that ILS has a team and has had one for several years, Mr. Cruz hopes they bring back that tradition.

 

Mr. Elvis Cruz, an alumnus from the class of 1975, was kind enough to share some of his ILS memorabilia with The Royal Courier. This is the title page of an ILS student handbook.

One thing that has definitely changed, not only at ILS but also at most schools is the grading scale.
Imagine not having a cellphone back in the day.
La Salle was the all-boys school before joining Immaculata to become a co-ed institution.
Then and now, spiritual formation of ILS students continues to be important.
