Unfortunately, James Corden’s days of carpooling late at night are almost over as he has announced he will be leaving The Late Late Show in 2023. He has been on the show for eight seasons filling homes of late night viewers with joy and laughter.

“When I started this journey, it was always going to be just that. It was going to be a journey, an adventure. I never saw it as my final destination,” he said.

“I never want this show to overstay its welcome in any way. I always want to love making it. And I really think in a year from now, that will be a good time to move on and see what else might be out there.”

Corden added that he insisted his last season on the show to be the best year; he wants to go out in a bang. The show is not going anywhere for now. You will still be able to enjoy another full year of watching him host carpool karaoke with various celebs.
