Steak and cake is a catchy, easy to say, easy to eat meal devoured by winners all across Immaculata-La Salle High School . 

For years steak and cake has been ranked the #1 motivational tool by athletes at ILS, followed by scholarships and championship titles… but what makes this meal so powerful?

Steak and cake comes in a package as this desirable meal includes a special morning  announcement made by Sister Kim where she indicates a team’s win, a secondary announcement made at lunch while serving this astounding meal which also announces the team’s win, and last, but not least… an opportunity to devour a juicy, tender, cooked to perfection, flavorful steak with a side of beautiful, moist, fluffy, frosted, rich cake beginning at 11 am, or first lunch.

It’s a win not only the team, but a win for the whole school. On days where steak and cake is served it is extremely rare, if not impossible to spot a person on campus without a big old smile on their face. 

This meal has provided an opportunity for students and teachers to come together and celebrate a well deserving win made possible by any of the sport’s teams.
