Game Of Thrones Vs. House Of Dragon
September 29, 2022
The famous Game Of Thrones franchise has been around since 2011 and has been a heart stopping and exhilarating hit show since then. It is an intense and dramatic show that will leave you on the edge of your seat. It follows nine noble families fighting over the lands of Westeros and control over the main Seven Kingdoms.
The story takes a turn when an ancient enemy returns after being banished and a conflict erupts between the men of the kingdoms. The show is primarily based off of George R.R. Martin’s best-selling book series, A Song Of Ice and Fire. It dives into the idea of a medieval country during civil war and the depiction of powerful families, knights, and back-stabbing people who make the show just a little bit more interesting.
If you are not into long shows, then this one might not be for you, considering it has 73 episodes and over eight seasons. On the other hand, if you are into a show with several story arcs, and jaw dropping moments that will leave you wanting to binge watch until 3 am, then this is the show for you!
House Of Dragon is a recently released prequel to Game Of Thrones. If you have not watched Game Of Thrones, then this show might not make much sense to you. House of Dragon takes place 200 years before Game Of Thrones and explains why the “Thrones” characters appear.
The central conflict of House Of The Dragon is who will take over the Iron Throne after King Viserys (sorry for the spoiler). It ultimately goes into detail about who the characters from Game Of Thrones are, and how they got to their current state.
“The first episode is perfect! The central theme of this series is SUCCESSION,” wrote one show critic.
I hope this convinced you to become a Game Of Thrones, fanatic because I am certainly hooked.
