Candidates for Freshmen Student Government Association Board did an extraordinary job reading their speeches, setting up posters, and campaigning. The freshmen class made the difficult decision of selecting the candidate they saw best fit for the position. All who ran were very capable individuals who have the intention of making a positive difference in the ILS community.

Without further ado, your class president for this school year is Dante Caicedo, Vice President Colleen Swan, and Secretary Sophia Catalina. Representatives for this school year include Veronica Mederos, Isabella Gamero, Sabrina Diaz- Balart, and Valeria Cortez.

The duties that come with being an active member of SGA are not simple. All members will have to work extremely hard this school year to make it the best year for freshmen.

Apart from ensuring class spirit is present and organizing events for their class, the SGA board must also collaborate well with one another.

“I have already developed a close bond with many of my fellow classmates on the SGA board and I think that we will all be able to work well and collaborate to make this year the best,” said Vice President Colleen Swan.
