The Girls JV volleyball team had a successful Dig Pink night defeating Palmer Trinity 2-0 during a Dig Pink event.  An organization that helps programs raise money for Breast Cancer Research, Dig Pink was there to help ILS raise over $800.

Their fundraising goal is $2,500, so they have a way to go. ILS Royals can make a difference and donate.

At the game, girls wore pink shirts and ribbons to represent Breast Cancer Awareness. They also decorated the gym with posters, banners, and pink balloons.

“I really loved the creativity and support that was in the gym, I loved bonding with my team while doing it for a cause,” said by sophomore Isabella Torres.

Not only was the team showing support, but the fans were, too. The audience was wearing pink shirts and their school spirit was amazing. Everyone was brought together by this cause.
