Swimming season is almost at an end!

The Swim Team had their districts meet Tuesday, October 25 at Ransom Everglades.

Lucas Young and Pablo Lopez Franco qualified to regionals automatically. The rest of the qualifiers will be announced later this week.

Joaquin Espinal competed at district finals with 53.03 seconds for a 100 backstroke, earning a 3rd place.

“We had great districts meet! I’m really proud of our team’s work and dedication,” said team captain, Eliza Chandler.

The relays also competed well as the boys placed 4th overall, while the girls placed 6th.

Regionals is yet to be announced, but it will take place the first week of November.

“I’m very pleased that we have had a great season, and I am really look forward to continuing the season and finishing off strong,” added Chandler.
