Sophomore Gianna Ferrara prepares for Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour by listening to albums Reputation and Midnights, both of which are old and new albums of Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift Is Back On Tour

Taylor Swift announced the long-awaited Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour November 1, 2022, while she was on Good Morning America.
Taylor Swift, like many other artists such as Billie Eilish had a tour in 2020 that got canceled because of Covid. This will be Taylor Swift’s first tour since 2020 The Loverfest.
Since Swift’s recent release of her tenth studio album, Midnights, lots of fans had been speculating that there could be a tour. In the past, Taylor Swift had done lots of Easter eggs when releasing different information and fans have started to catch on and speculate.
Openers/special guests that will be on tour with Swift are Paramore, Gracie Abrams, Haim, Muna, Girl in Red, Beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, Gayle, and Owenn.
“As a long-time fan, I’m really excited to go to my first Taylor Swift concert. I just know that I’m gonna have a blast!” said sophomore Abigail Figueredo.
On Taylor’s Instagram, she announced her tour with the caption, “I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!) The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can! Feeling like the Luckiest person alive because I get to take these brilliant artists out on tour with me: Paramore, Beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, Girl in Red, Muna, Haim, Gracie Abrams, Gayle, and Owenn. I can’t WAIT to see your gorgeous faces out there. It’s been a long time coming.”
“I’m really excited, I think the fans have missed her especially since Loverfest was really disappointing when it got cancelled due to Covid, so I think it’s very nice what she’s doing. I think everybody was really worried about how Taylor’s next tour was going to be formulated since she has so many albums, eras, and songs but I think everyone is really excited to see how each era will be presented and how each act will go,” said sophomore Gianna Ferrara.
When Swift announced the tour on her Instagram, special guests like Gracie Abrams decided to announce Swift’s tour and wrote that she is going on tour with Swift as a special guest. She wrote, “Taylor Swift you know I will never have the words. THE ERAS TOUR IS HAPPENING AND I WILL NEVER HAVE THE WORDS Taylor Swift Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. Thank you. I love you.”
“I’m excited to see what the set would look like as well as what the setlist of songs has,” said sophomore Amanda Crews.
