Even though the rest of the athletes on the team did not excel in breaking school records, there still have been time drops, and personal records for many individual and relay events. For most athletes these results may also come as a surprise. As ILS has been constructing the new facilities around the track, track athletes can only train by running properly nothing over 250meter repeats, having the track shut down a total of 150 meters due mainly to the positioning of the crane.

However, there is hope that our athletes will be able to properly go back to training on our old track by the end of spring break. Helping our athletes properly prepare to bring back to our lion’s den a District Championship title is a top priority.
