TIKTOK

Since TikTok is a very creative app where you can find videos for any demographic, it is filled with all different kinds of trends for all different kinds of creators. Trends change very quickly with usually a new one emerging every week or even every couple of days. Recently, a trend went viral that comments on the different personalities in a friendship or sometimes in a relationship. It is best known as the  “lalalalala” “okokokokok” trend. It is also a quiz which you can find using a simple Google search. The OkOkOk or LaLaLa trend is meant to find what vibe you give off, whether you’re more introverted or more of an extrovert. This trend uses a verse from the song “See You Again” by Tyler, The Creator (Feat. Kali Uchis). The two people decide who is the “lalalalala” person in the pair and who is the “okokokokok” person and then include cute photos of the pair.

LALALA

The “lalalalala” person is someone who is typically seen as being an extrovert; they are also usually dreamy, a very funny person, and a loud talker. They are also known to be a nice person, a social butterfly, an energetic person, a friendly person, a popular person, and a caring person. They are the friend that talks the most out of the two.

OKOKOK

While the “okokokokok” person is typically seen as an introverted person, a good listener, has calm energy, is mature, and typically awkward. They are the friend that is more of a listener rather than a talker.

While some think that the meaning is the other way around, most viewers think of it like this and add to the trend accordingly.

TikTok users use trends like this as a way to express themselves via pictures and audios or videos.
