If you want to upgrade your wardrobe, now is the moment; the clothes are greater than ever this summer. Set yourself different by learning what’s trending. Begin assembling your ideal dream closet to wear wherever, and most importantly, keep attractive while traveling.

What is trending right now? 

  • 90s inspired: People are currently inspired by 90s fashion, it is a true revival. A reminder that the 90s was a decade of bold fashion choices, and many of the styles from that era are still relevant today. Fashion trends tend to come back around, for this reason you should incorporate 90s accents into your modern day fits. 
  • All Denim: Jeans and shorts will never not be used but think of pairing them this time with a denim top, adding a denim shoulder bag, even denim dresses. 
  • Blurred Patterns: Don’t you dare think about tie-dye or ombre because it is very different, its a blurring of colors using pastel or water colors that have been named one of the most popular prints. They are truly an artistic design and very unique. They have a light and airy feel so they are perfect for the summer weather. 
  • Metallics: Metallics are definitely the perfect pop of color, these colors have been now used for every single piece of a clothing whether it’s a hint or an entire top. They are eye-catching and definitely make a statement to others, it cam be dressed up or dressed down, making a versatile choice for any occasion. Metallics reflect lights and can make a person look more radiant during the summer. 
  • Quiet Luxury: Understated elegance and sophistication. Minimalist designs involving neutral colors with an emphasis on fine fabrics which bring attention. It’s a timeless and effortless fashion style, with a minimum of accessories and showing that less is classier. 

“I love fashion so much that you can make anything look good by putting together a few pieces of clothes because its called fashion,” said Luciana Hoyos.

Shoes

  • Chunky sneakers 

Now these are definitely controversial but they have officially made it to the summer shoe list. Chunky shoes bring attention to a basic outfit or can fit perfectly into adding that extra statement. These shoes are bold and edgy, they also add to the 90s inspired by being vintage. They are a comfortable sneaker yet are able to perfectly add pizzaz to any outfit. Definitely shoes you can repeat on whatever you want to where.

  • Ballet Flats 

These are the girl shoes. They scream formal yet classy, but they can also be worn down and used for any basic outfit. Long skirts and Maxi-Midi dresses work perfectly with these shoes. They bring out quiet luxury style if that is what you’re indeed looking for. They are delicate and feminine beauties, with a simple design providing a comfortable fit.

Statement pieces 

A statement piece is a eye-catching piece in the outfit, normally tops or accessories that will make any boring outfit have an appeal to others eyes, especially for yourself to feel like your not wearing something defined as “whatever”. This is not worn all the time as It typically can be used for events in which you decide to go simple and understated except for that one piece. It is a great way to express the unique collection of tops that you think are the best ones out of the whole closet. 

What can be a good statement piece for this summer?

    •  Crochet

Bohemian and vintage touch to any outfit. How does this not scream summer? Crochet pieces can be found in a variety of styles, including dresses, tops and even accessories. What’s cute about these crochet pieces is that their charm comes from them being handmade which increases appeal. 

“The crochet style look is so in right now and its great for the sumer because its very breathable material and you won’t get too hot,” said Gianna Ferrara.

    • Linen

Linen will never fail you ever in fashion especially during the summer time. Linen everything is a good way to go and can create an overall statement outfit or a statement piece. White linen is a preferable go to but be sure to check our pastel colors that match your skin tone.
