Newly opened comfort food restaurant, Conos Craving, opened a brand new location in South Beach. They are known for putting a unique twist on their style of Colombian street food.

Inside the colorful restaurant, the instagram worthy decor attracts anyone who walks by. The dimly-lit lights from the neon signs and the framed song lyrics on the wall give a vibrant and happy tone.

I ate four delicious cones that they have on their mouth-watering chalk board menu. Skinny Disco (Quinoa, arugula, maduros, edamame beans, crispy onions, avocado, tomatoes, suero, and dressing for $14), Mama’s Favorite (chorizo, pineapple relish, guacamole, pico de gallo for $8), Poke Me (salmon, spicy mayo, ginger, avocado, pickled cucumber, sweet sticky rice for 13.50), La Reina (fried queso, guacamole, maduros, nata for $8).

Every cone has its own personality because of the different flavors, whether it had pork belly, shredded chicken, maduros, and other delicious foods. Each cone sits in a candle holder that has a neon wrapper around it that says “Conos.”

The cone all have a fresh and savory punch of flavor at an affordable price. The fish in Poke Me was very fresh and tasted like it was right out of the water.

The fruit in Mama’s Favorite was so juicy and sweet but the pico de gallo gave it a sweet and savory taste. The maduros in Skinny Disco was sweet and tasted like it flew in from Columbia.

The staff is super attentive with each and every customer and makes sure everyone is satisfied. They also have a special hose sauce that you can eat with every cone.

On Monday-Thursday and Saturday’s they are opened from 11AM-3PM and reopen at 8PM-12AM. On Fridays they are opened from 11AM-3PM and reopens 8PM-5AM.
