Last Thursday the Royal Lions (0-0-1) hosted rival Mast Academy (0-0-1) in a Non-Conference matchup which ended in a tie.

Following the historic 2018-2019 season which ended in a state championship run, the ILS Soccer team looks to build off of that success this season.

Just like last year’s game which ended in a 1-1 draw, the Royal Lions and Mast Academy tied in a 0 scoring bout.

The Royal Lions took 12 shots, six of those which were on goal but did not find the back of the net.

Sophomore goalkeeper Manuel Lopez led the game with a shutout and totaling two saves in 80 minutes.

Sophomore defender Nikolas Salge was selected the man of the match by MaxPreps in his impressive ILS soccer debut.

The LaSalle soccer team looks to pick up from the tie and put a win in the column on Tuesday, November 19 @ 7pm as they host American Heritage (Delray Beach, FL).
