- Mañana Será Bonito by Karol G
This album was released on February 24, 2023. A tracklist of 17 songs focuses on self-love and comfort. It represents her expansion into other genres of music beyond urbano.
One of its biggest hits, Provenza, is an anthem for the Colombian neighborhood it was inspired by.
- 1989 Taylor’s Version by Taylor Swift
This album is a mix of old and new songs. There are sixteen re-released songs from her 2014 “1989” album and five newly released songs for 2023.
A few of the new ones are “Say don’t go,” “Now that we don’t talk,” and “Is it over now?”
Sophomore Celina Sosa loves the song “Now that we don’t talk.” She enjoys the beat of the song and Taylor’s angelic voice.
- For All the Dogs by Drake
This album was highly anticipated as it was announced in September 2023, but was not released until October 6, 2023.
Drake had to push back the release of the album as he was on his “It’s All a Blur” tour. The album’s artwork was drawn by Drake’s son, Adonis Graham.
One of its hit songs, “ Slime You Out” ft. SZA was released just a week before the album as a preview. “ SZA is one of my favorite artists. I really enjoyed the song,” said junior Joaquin Martinelli Ezquerra.
- Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd by Lana del Rey
This album has been a big hit as it features the maturity and progression of Lana Del Ray as both a person and an artist. It emphasizes keeping a positive outlook on life instead of a negative one.
She talks about seeking healing, love, and wisdom. It was released on March 24, 2023, and has 16 songs.

Last, but certainly not least, this album is one of the most recent of this year. It was released on October 13, 2023.
It is considered a return to Bad Bunny’s original style of Latin music called “trap.” The songs are about several things: relationships, money, and a life of fame.
