Hope everyone had a restful and blessed Happy Thanksgiving .
All fall sports have officially come to an end with Emmanuel Roca closing out the season at the State competition just before break. He did a great job representing ILS at a really tough course in Tallahassee, Fl. He and the Cross Country coaches had a wonderful experience at the state championships which they will use as fuel and motivation for next season.

Girls Varsity Cheerleading travel to Bartow High school for the Chase the State Competition.
The JV Cheerleading team is also in action this weekend as they travel to the Charles F. Dodge Arena in Pembroke Pines to compete at the USCA Regionals.
ILS Girls’ Basketball beat Miami Sunset 48-31. Top Scorers were Candy Cruz with 9 points 8 rebounds, Rachael Restrepo with 8 points, and Alexandra Gonzalez who posted her first career double-double with 12 points 12 rebounds!!
The team also beat David Posnack Day School 51-32. Top Scorers were Caroline Barrabes with 9 points 6 rebounds and Alexandra Gonzalez who posted a monster stat line of 25 points 16 rebounds 7 steals and 3 blocks!!
