Football: The Royal Lions football team hosted Gulliver Prep in their Week 0 – Preseason match up. After a slow start the Royals saw themselves down at the half 0-7. They responded well coming out scoring 28 unanswered to win the game 28-7.

They look to start off the season the same way as they take on Miami High for a 7PM kick off at Curtis Park.

 

Volleyball: The Girls Varsity volleyball team was also in action on Friday evening. They kicked off their season at the Patriot Preseason tournament. They lost the first match against tournament host FCS but did get a win against Carrollton. After dropping the first set 19-25 they bounced back with back-to-back wins 25-18 and 15-8.

The JV and Varsity team kickoff their season at Archbishop Carroll on Tuesday night.

Friday, August 24, 2024: Cross Country (XC) kicks off their season at the Conquistador Kick-off Invitational at Larry and Penny Thomas Park. (1:15 Dismissal)
