Over the years, tuition at ILS has increased and students are starting to notice. This year, students in Grades 9–11 are paying $19,900 in total fees, while seniors are paying $20,400. This is mainly due to added graduation expenses. While some may wonder why tuition continues to rise, the answer is simple: growth, progress, and the school’s commitment to providing the best possible education.
From a brand-new sports stadium to upgraded iPads and digital learning tools, the school is investing in ways that improve the student experience, academically, socially, and spiritually.
“We’re getting new and better things, and that does cost more,” said Junior Aya Bardawill.
Junior Mateo Gomez agreed. “When you look around, you can tell the school is really putting effort into everything, not just the academics, but making the environment better too,” he said.
With a Technology eBook Fee of $1,300, a Security Fee of $600, and other necessary costs like food and graduation, tuition reflects more than just classroom learning — it’s about building a community where students are supported in every way.
Seniors like Nahia Rivieros, who will soon be graduating, also recognized the value of the improvements.
“Yes, things cost more now, but I think it reflects how much the school is investing in us and our future.”
While some argue against tuition increases, it’s important to recognize that without these adjustments, schools would struggle to provide necessary resources, maintain faculty quality, and offer advanced technologies.
As a Catholic school, the mission is clear: to educate the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Immaculata-La Salle represents these qualities in every way as these investments show how deeply the school cares about its students. While tuition may rise, so does the quality of the experience and that’s something many believe is worth it.
