Hello, Royals!Boys Volleyball: Your boys varsity VB team won its first ever District Championship. They took down SLAM academy in straight sets 25-16, 25-17 and 25-13. The boys enter the regional tournament as the #2 seed for the second year in a row with an impressive record of 13-6. They will be taking on the #7 seed colonial Christian on Tuesday.Beach Volleyball: The beach VB season came to an end in the regional quarterfinal round vs top seeded Westminster Christian. The team had one of the best seasons since the inception of beach volleyball as a sport by the FHSAA reaching the regional tournament for the first time in program history.Softball: The softball teams season also came to an end last week. After a dominating win against Ransom Everglades 23-7. They did fall in the semifinal round against top tanked Florida Chrisitan.Track: ILS Track Team Shines at Regional Meet, Heads to State ChampionshipsThe ILS track team had an outstanding performance at the regional track meet, earning multiple accolades and state qualifications. Krystal Inhoof led the way as the Regional Champion in the triple jump, showcasing her dominance in the field events.The boys’ 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams both secured regional runner-up finishes, while the girls’ 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams earned their spots at the State Championships—along with the boys’ relay teams. In individual events, Candy Cruz, Krystal Inhoof, and Kennedy Garay all qualified for the state meet in their respective events, highlighting the team’s depth and talent.With just one meet left, the ILS Royals are aiming to end their season on a high note at the State Championship Meet, held this Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the University of North Florida.
