The sci-fi show Black Mirror is back on Netflix with Season 7. This new season has six episodes, each with a different story about how technology can go too far. The show is known for being weird, creepy, and making people think about the future—and this season keeps that going strong.
“I loved watching the new Black Mirror season!” exclaimed sophomore Valentina Esperante.
One of the most exciting episodes is “USS Callister: Into Infinity,” a sequel to a fan-favorite. It’s about digital copies of people trapped inside a video game, trying to escape. The episode is fun and full of action, but also sad when you think about being stuck forever.
Another strong episode is “Common People,” where a man uses advanced tech to help his dying wife. But things go wrong, and it makes you ask: Should we always trust technology, even when it promises to help?
“My favorite episode was “Common People,” shared sophomore Mayte Tassitch.
In another significant episode, “Hotel Reverie,” an actress joins a virtual world to remake an old movie. At first it seems calm, but soon she loses control. It shows how even dreams can turn into nightmares.
“This season was really well made; it has to be one of the best,” said sophomore Mia Casanueva.
Other episodes explore things like AI friends, mind control, and memory implants. Some stories feel more real than others, but they all warn viewers to be careful with how much one depends on machines.
The acting this season is really good. The stories are creative, even if a couple feel a bit too strange or confusing. But that’s just apart of the show. Each episode makes viewers ask big questions, like: What would I do? Is this where our world is heading?
Black Mirror Season 7 is perfect for fans who like thrilling stories that mix science, feelings, and fear. You don’t have to watch past seasons to enjoy it, Just be ready for twists!
