Hello, Royals!
Boys Volleyball: The Boys Volleyball team added to their historic season on Friday night. They defeated Somerset Academy South Homestead in the Regional semifinal match in an absolute nail biter. They went back and forth the entire match. Each team taking its turning taking the lead and winning different sets. It came down to the 5th and final set where the Royals ended up pulling away at the end and winning it 15-10 to advance to the Regional Final. This is the first ever regional final appearance by the Boys Volleyball program. They will take on the #1 seeded True North Academy on Tuesday at 6:00PM. Winner advancing to the State Championships.
Track Team: The ILS Royals wrapped up a historic season at the State Championship meet with strong performances and several podium finishes.
On the Girls’ side, sophomore Krystal Inhoof delivered in the jumps, placing 7th in Long Jump and 6th in Triple Jump, capping off an incredible season. The Girls 4x100m Relay went out with a bang, breaking the school record one final time, narrowly missing the podium by just 0.11 seconds. In the throws, Candy Cruz closed out her standout career with a solid performance in Javelin, falling just 0.07 meters short of a medal.
For the boys, Kennedy Garay got off to a fast start by claiming 7th place in the 110m Hurdles and later anchored the Boys 4x400m Relay to a 5th place finish. The Boys 4x100m Relay also earned a 5th place, missing a top three finish by a razor-thin margin of 0.03 seconds.

Tuesday, May 13, 2025: Boys Varsity Volleyball Regional FINAL @ True North Classical Academy 6:00PM. (Winner advances to the state championships May 15th in Polk State College – Winter Haven, Fl)
Signing Day in the gym 2:45PM: 4 Baseball Players, 3 Sailors, 1 boy soccer and 1 football player will be signing their National Letters of Intent to play at the next level. This will already add to the 4 signees we had earlier this year (3 football/1 girls’ volleyball). Come by and cheer them on right after school.
