Swimming: Our swim team had a strong showing in back-to-back meets, earning 3rd place overall at both Ransom Everglades and Doral.
Ransom Everglades Meet- Team Finish: 3rd Overall

Golf: The boys golf team played their first match of the year after being rained out to begin the season.
The boys played state finalist MAST Academy at Crandon Golf Course. The young team was led by three freshman who shot 42, 44, and 44. Gilberto Morales, Lucio Perez-Alonso, and Quentin Blanchet.
The team takes on Doral Academy next Tuesday the 23rd at Crandon.
XC: The cross-country team competed at the Spanish River Invitational this past Friday in Boca Raton. The boys finished 11th out of 22 teams with several runners either running their personal or season best time. Senior captain Daniel Brito (18:26), as well as Sophomores Felipe Garcia-Correa (18:42) and Benjamin Pieri (18:42) led the charge all finishing within the top 60. The girls ran a strong race as well led by sophomore Myah Taher who finished with a PR (26:00) and senior Luciana Gadala-Maria (28:39).
The team will look to continue their momentum into the middle of the season with a race at Palmer Trinity Invitational this Saturday at Palmer Trinity High School.
Volleyball: Our Royal Lions came away with a big win over Ransom Everglades, taking the match in four sets. Final Score: ILS 3 – Ransom Everglades 1 (22-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-23) After dropping a close first set, the team bounced back with grit and consistency, winning three straight sets to seal the victory.
They did drop a game against one of the top teams in the city, Mater Lakes so currently undefeated. While the scoreboard didn’t go our way, the effort, energy, and fight were there all night. They’re looking to build off it for this week.

Thursday, September 25, 2025: Swimming team travels to Miami Country Day for a Dual meet. 4:30PM warm up 5:30PM start.
Girls Golf hosts Lourdes for a 3PM match at Crandon Park.
Friday, September 26, 2025: Football team travels to District opponent Ransom Everglades for a 7PM kick off.
Girls Varsity Volleyball travels to Florida Christan for a two-day varsity tournament.
Saturday, September 27, 2025: Cross Country heads to Palmer Trinity for the Falcon Invite.
