A yearbook is a record of a school year, compiling photos, names, events, and achievements in one place. It serves as a reference for students and staff to remember key moments and people from that time.
“i think it’s very cute and I enjoyed how organized and pretty it is. Over all, it’s very easy to navigate and the pictures were great. My favorite part was the part in the last few pages where it’s just all the students names so we can locate our pictures,” said junior Fernanda Martinez.
Yearbooks provide a clear overview of the academic year, including clubs, sports, classes, and special events. They offer a way to document participation and accomplishments, which can be useful for students later on.
They also allow future students and alumni to look back and see how the school and community have changed over time. Despite the rise of digital media, yearbooks remain a tangible way to keep memories organized and accessible.
“It was good because I think it was very creative,” said junior Beatrice Nena.
Theme
The 2024-2025 yearbook features the theme, Go For Gold, centered on striving for excellence in all aspects of life—academics, spirituality, and personal growth. Inspired by the dedication seen in Olympic athletes, the design contains bold, gold tones to symbolize ambition and determination.
This theme encourages consistent effort, emphasizing resilience, meaningful progress, and supporting others rather than flawless achievement. It serves as a reminder to embrace challenges and lead with intention in everyday actions.
”I really like the theme this year. it’s very original and its colors goes well in the yearbook,” said junior Isabella Baena.
Design
The yearbook’s color scheme is based on the Olympic palette, representing unity, strength, and determination. It uses bold primary and secondary colors to show diversity and the effect of working together.
These colors combine to create a balanced and visually appealing design.
The iconography includes the Olympic rings, representing the connection of five continents working toward a common objective.
In this context, it signifies the four grade levels and teachers coming together as a single community. Cutouts are used to highlight the main subject of each photo, giving them more emphasis and visual impact.
