As Halloween approaches, students are already planning their creative costumes for the spooky season. From classic characters to clever group themes, this year’s costume ideas are full of fun and variety. Many are excited to show off their creativity and celebrate one of the most popular holidays of the year.

“Halloween costume ideas can be so stressful, so I like to start planning ahead,” said junior Gabriela Punzo.

Couples and groups are going all out this year. Some are planning to dress as famous duos like Mr. and Mrs. Smith or Anakin and Padmé from Star Wars. Others are forming larger group themes such as Alvin and the Chipmunks or Cruella de Vil and the Dalmatians. These costumes let friends match while standing out together, making Halloween even more memorable.

“This year for Halloween I plan on wearing so many costumes,” said junior Natalie Reyes.

Popular solo costumes are also making a comeback. Disney princesses, villains, and classic characters like Minnie Mouse and Winnie the Pooh are favorites among students. Some are even taking inspiration from TV shows or movies, dressing up as racers, superheroes, or zombies. A few students are keeping it simple with basic but timeless costumes, while others are adding a unique twist to stand out.

For those looking for something different, some students are going for funny or unexpected looks. Costumes like detectives, Girl Scouts, or Minions are easy to recognize and bring laughter to the celebration.
