Here’s your Sunday sports report and sports schedule.
Boys Soccer: The Boys Soccer team put together a strong week with two key victories, getting their season back on track as they head into the final stretch.
The week began with a hard-fought 1–0 win over Belen Jesuit in a tightly contested match. The team showed great discipline and resilience, earning the shutout and securing an important result.
The momentum continued Senior Night with an impressive 4–0 victory over Don Soffer. It was a complete performance on both ends of the field and a memorable night as the seniors were honored with a dominant win.
With these back-to-back victories, the team is coming into form at the right time and building confidence as they enter the final part of the season.
Girls Soccer: The girls soccer team went 1–1 this week following the break. The week opened with a tough 3–1 loss to Lourdes, as the team battled but came up short. The group responded in a big way on Senior Night, bouncing back with an impressive 8–0 victory over Don Soffer. The dominant performance was a great way to honor the seniors and highlighted the team’s resilience as they head into the final stretch of the season.
Girls Basketball: The girls basketball team had a strong week, going 2-0 with convincing wins over True North and Terra. They opened the week with a 54–32 victory against True North, setting the tone with strong defense and balanced scoring. The momentum carried over into their next matchup, as they defeated Terra 58–31 in another dominant performance.
With these two wins, the girls have now extended their winning streak to four games and are hitting their stride as they enter the home stretch of the season.
Boys Basketball: The boys basketball team battled through a challenging week, dropping two closely contested games while showing continued growth and effort on the court.
In the first matchup, the team competed hard against Palmer but came up just short in a 66–56 loss. The boys responded with another strong performance later in the week, keeping pace with Jewish Culture School before falling 60–50.
Despite the results, the team’s fight, resilience, and commitment were evident in both games. With valuable experience gained and the season moving forward, the boys remain focused and determined as they continue to build and improve.
Cheerleading: The cheerleading team delivered an outstanding performance at the regional competition, earning a 3rd place finish against strong competition. Their hard work, dedication, and attention to detail were on full display throughout the routine, reflecting the commitment they have shown all season.
With this impressive result, the team officially qualified for the State Championship competition. Congrats to our cheerleaders and coaching staff on a well-earned accomplishment, and best of luck as they prepare to represent the school at the state level.
