Here’s your Monday sports report and upcoming sports schedule.

Boys’ Basketball: The boys basketball team went 2-1 this week, opening with a strong 76–50 victory over Cushman. The team then battled in a hard-fought double-overtime game against Mater Academy, falling 73–65 in a contest that could have gone either way. They also defeated South Miami on senior night 71-58.

Girls’ Basketball: The girls basketball team continued its impressive run this week, picking up three big wins. The team opened the week with a dominant 64–8 victory over Divine Savior, followed by a strong 64–40 win against St. Brendan. They closed out the week at the MLK Classic with a victory over King’s Academy 64-33.

With these wins, the girls extend their winning streak to 7 games as they head into the home stretch of the season, continuing to build momentum at the right time.

Boys’ Soccer: The boys soccer team wrapped up the regular season this week after one match was canceled due to weather. In their final game, the team fell to American Heritage by a score of 2–0 in a hard-fought contest.

The boys finish the regular season with a 4-6-2 record and will enter the district tournament as the #2 seed. With postseason play ahead, the team will look to build on its experience and compete for a deep run-in district.

Girls’ Soccer: The girls soccer team concluded the regular season this week after a scheduled match was canceled due to weather. In their final contest, the team fell to Palmer Trinity by a score of 3–0.

The girls finish the regular season with a 6-7-1 record and will enter the district tournament as the #2 seed. With postseason play approaching, the team is set to refocus and prepare for district competition.

Thursday, January 22, 2026: Cheerleading team leaves for the State Championship competition.

Friday, January 23, 2026: Cheerleading competes at the FHSAA State Championships

District Semifinal: Girls Hosts winner of Coral Shores and Killian for a 4PM match.

District Semifinal: Boys Soccer hosts the winner of Killian & Somerset Silver Palms for their district semifinal 6:00PM

Boys’ basketball hosts Key West for a 3:30/5PM game.

Saturday, January 24, 2026: Sailing team travels to St. Petersburg Fl for South Points regatta #4.
