Sunshine Showcase With Key Biscayne Field Hockey

Players walk off into the sunset after an arduous day of competition.

The Key Biscayne Field Hockey team makes their away into the sunshine showcase tournament ready to demonstrate their skills, starting the day off with a game against AGH. (Violeta Fausciana)

After the game, the team has their usual talk with Coach Rodrigo Mancenido who discusses the game play for the next game and how everyone performed at the most recent one. (Violeta Fausciana)

At the end of the day, the team makes their way onto the ESPN fields where the younger teams will be playing, gathering there to watch or enjoy something to eat. (Violeta Fausciana)

After a long day, the team heads back to the hotel to rest, stretch, and eat. (Violeta Fausciana)

The next day the team starts off with an early morning game. During this tournament, it is very important to showcase all the skills players have as there are scouts watching the games. (Violeta Fausciana)

Violeta Fausciana, was born and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, only having moved here five years ago. She plays field hockey for KBFH on Key Biscayne. An only child, she enjoys spending time with her dog, a labrador.
