After being gone for a whole summer, LTV is officially back for another school year. ILS’s news broadcast has returned with some changes to its schedule, but it still has the same funny and entertaining energy that students enjoyed last year.

”It was funny seeing my friends on LTV during class last year,” sophomore David Sierra said.

One of the biggest changes this year is that LTV will only be broadcast at the beginning of each F Block. Even though students will see it less often, it still gives them a chance to see what is going on around the school while also getting some entertainment.

The students working on LTV have also brought back the creative ideas that made the broadcasts entertaining last year. Some of the segments include “Day in the Life” videos, which show what a student’s typical day looks like. These segments give students a different and sometimes light-hearted look at life around Immaculata-La-Salle.

LTV also includes humorous skits that can happen when students least expect them. One example is a Q & A segment that gets interrupted by musician Israel Franchi randomly playing the guitar. Moments like this make the broadcast feel more enjoyable and less like a normal school announcement.

”I thought the confused looks on their faces was pretty funny,” sophomore Jacob Fleitas said, referring to the guitar/Q & A.

Even with the various changes, LTV has kept the same energy and personality from last year. The students behind the broadcasts are bringing their creativity and humor back to school, giving everyone something entertaining to watch at the start of F Block. With LTV having returned, students can look forward to more engaging moments, creative segments, and school news throughout the year.
