Fall Sports Teams Holding Informational Meetings
With the Fall Sports season getting started, many of the teams are holding virtual meetings to share information with interested students. Although some teams have started conditioning and drills on campus, that’s being done in small groups and socially distant.
COVID-19 has complicated Athletics at ILS, but the Athletic Department, led by Athletic Director Nick Fernandez, continues to find new and innovative ways to connect with the student body.
Over the last several days, a number of teams have posted their information meeting times on the school’s Instagram page. Among the teams are: Baseball, Cheerleading, the Lionettes Dance Team, Golf, Softball and Girls Volleyball. Last year, the Cheerleading team won the first-ever State Championship in a team sport for ILS. The Girls Volleyball team won the District Championship, too!
Check out the information below! Contact emails for coaches are there, just in case you missed or can’t make the meetings.
