Spring Breakers Gone Cray Cray

This year spring breakers have turned the city of Miami Beach upside down with a post COVID vengeance. Since the world has been on lockdown these past couple of years, everyone is making up for it now by coming down to Miami Beach for spring break and making a mess of everything. It’s been a nightmare between the shootings, street brawls, crowd stampedes, and public indecency.

Following a pair of shootings that hospitalized five victims over the break, Miami Beach’s Democratic mayor Dan Gelber imposed both a state of emergency and curfew for the South Beach area for the duration of the weekend.

“It’s an incredible strain; we had 317 police working over the weekend and that’s an enormous amount for what is essentially a very small area,” Gelber told The Post.Florida cops seize enough weapons to 'arm a small army' from rowdy spring breakers | Daily Mail Online

Gelber-who said that the vicious crime spike has been caused almost entirely by the visitors-was also quick to note that his police force is seeing more and more armed people roaming the streets.

“The number of weapons we have seized has been higher than normal. We’ve seized about 100 weapons in the last month.”

Everyone who has yet to enjoy their spring break, please do so safely and be aware of your surroundings. It is important to be responsible and make good decisions.
