Earlier this year NYU (New York University) added a Taylor Swift class to their long list of classes for students to take which delves into her songwriting, feuds, and more, but they recently announced something else.

Taylor Swift is getting an honorary Doctorate from NYU with this year’s graduating class. If wondering if she’s going to be at the ceremony, the obvious answer is yes!

She set to get a Doctorate of Fine Arts, Honoris Causa, and toss her cap when she addresses the class of 2022 at the Yankee Stadium on May 18th. 

In order to celebrate her graduation and the graduating classes all over the world this year, she released limited edition merchandise that started selling out within the hour. It included an array of hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts, party decorations, and graduation cap decorations. This woman has clearly thought of everything. 

As a 2022 graduate and Swiftie myself, I’m ready to join Swift in “Feeling 22” and “Being Happy, Free, Confused, and Lonely at the same time.”
