Sports Flash- August Start of New School Year

Happy Welcome Week ILS Family,
Hope everyone had a nice weekend! This year, ILS had a good start to the athletic season Friday when Varsity Football defeated Archbishop Carroll 34-13 at the preseason Kick-off Classic. ILS had a great turn out of fans. Thank you to those who came out to support the team.
Here is a schedule of what has happened so far this month.
Monday, August 22, 2022: Golf opened the season vs Divine Savior at Trump Doral.
Girls’ Volleyball headed to Florida Christian for a JV and Varsity matches.
Thursday, August 25, 2022: Golf visited Miami Shores to face off against Dan Soffer School.
Friday, August 26, 2022: JV Volleyball hosted Gulliver Prep for a match in the Lion’s Den.
Varsity Football went to Harris Field against Somerset South Homestead.
