You may have noticed the new beach volleyball courts behind the SLC.

These new courts were put it in over the summer to offer a fresh start for the team which previously had to practice at Kennedy Park.

Now that the team has the court, they’re excited for the season because they have a proper home court advantage, which makes all the difference between winning and losing.

“I’m really excited for this year because anyone can come and support our games. and now that we have our own courts, it feels like they belong to us,” said sophomore Agatha Morrison

The addition of new courts has also brought new opportunities such as more private and serious practices without distractions.

“I think it is going to be more private and the team will be able to focus more and less interruptions with the schedule and less people being late,” said senior Angelina Cambo.
