This year’s team is young, featuring a few members who just had their first high school match. They must continue to work together and build a strong bond in order to have a successful season. Last year’s Golf season ended with seniors Peter Hellebrand and Mariana Naranjo competing at Regionals, four-year starters who performed at a high level for the team.

Last week, ILS had their first Golf match of the season, but unfortunately did not bring back a win, despite putting in hard work and effort considering that most of them are new.This year’s team also starts at an advantage considering that last year their season was cut short by COVID-19. The team is ready to have a great season and put their all into the game.

“My goal for this year’s team is for them to improve their skills and grow the sport of golf throughout the school,” said Coach Anthony Tzamtzis.

The team has several matches giving everyone a chance to show their support.
