The Retreat Center is a pretty remote area at ILS, yet also a very crucial part of our school community. It hosts retreats led by the Salesian Hearts Club where Catholic middle schools across Miami come to better their relationship with God. They are also able to meet new people which also strengthens their relationships with each other. The Retreat Center is also home to some of our very amazing classes such as art and engineering. It is also the location of some of our incredible staff here at ILS. Many of the students here enjoy attending class at the Retreat Center.

“The best part about having class in the Retreat Center is having it in a big classroom with cool decorations and that it is different from all my classes. The worst part of having classes in the Retreat Center is having to walk all the way from the main building to the retreat center because they are so far apart,” said junior Emilie Reyes.
