Charlie Brown has been entertaining families for over 50 years so what better way than to get in the Halloween spirit than with a old familiar classic.

9. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”
This is the longest running theatrical release in history, it has a been deemed a cult classic and it is wildly successful with teenagers.

8. “The Addams Family”
This is a classic movie to watch with family and friends it delivers a perfect Halloween feeling without the actual scares.

7. The original “Halloween”
With its stellar soundtrack by John Carpenter it delivers a frightful experience with plenty of jump scares that leave a memorable impression on the viewer.

6. “Scream”
The movie follows a group of teenagers and their plight against a homicidal maniac with a surprise twist at the end.

5. “The Nightmare Before Christmas”
While it could be argued as a Christmas, it would be a very sinister Christmas and it functions much better as a Halloween movie with the lovable Jack Skellington

This movie is filled to the brim with jokes delivered perfectly by Michael Keaton. This is the one movie where you will be rooting for the ghosts.

This movie is arguably one of the funniest movies of all time and depicts the classic story of Frankenstein.
