The Puffs are back, and so is the show

The ILS Drama Club performed the show Puffs May 10-13.

The play is basically a spin off of Harry Potter.

Puffs is about a boy named Wayne who receives a letter saying that he was a wizard, and he had no idea that he was a wizard.

He then gets accepted into a wizard school where he remains for seven years.

At that school, he learns how to cast spells and much more.

He also makes life-long friendships, primarily with two people named Megan and Oliver, and with those friends he had to survive those seven years in school

While at wizarding school, they had to face trolls and a murderer.

Many of the wizards lose their lives, yet in the end, it’s the journey and friends they made that matter.

The show was very humorous as the phenomenal cast, who truly brought the characters to life, made a successful attempt to interact with the audience.

The Puffs are Mercy Cabrera (Hannah), Danna Chalela (Megan Jones), Sebastian Debora (Cedric), Mackenzie Granado (Leanne), Victoria Harding (J. Finch Fletchly), Ernesto Losada (Wayne Hopkins), Sebastian Pacheco (Oliver Rivers), Ana Rincon ( Susie Bones/Harry), Pierina Santeusanio (Sally Perks), and Logan Wilkening ( Ernie Mac)

Emily Blanco played Blondo Malfoy. Her favorite part of the show was when she has her feet in the air.

She auditioned to play Megan Jones, but didn’t get that part.

“My favorite thing about her chapter is how she is barefoot,” said Emily.

Sophomore Bernadette Nieto-Ramos has watched the show three times.

“It’s scary, but also good,” she said.

Her favorite characters were Cedrick and J Finch.

I think the show is scary, because there are so many things happening at the same time

Chiara Cannis played the narrator as she explained everything happening in the show.

After auditioning, Chiara was pleased with the role she was assigned.
