The New Latin Power Couple are Engaged

As many of you may know, the power couple of the Latin music industry, Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía, recently got engaged.

The couple dropped an album named “RR” for Rosalia and Rauw, featuring three songs in total.

After more than three years together, here are three songs made with all the love in the world

They announced their engagement March 24 through the music video, “Beso.” The video is a montage of their relationship. At the end of it, they add a clip where Rosalia cries out for joy with an engagement ring on her finger.

The couple has been dating for almost four years with their love story starting with an exchange of Instagram DMs, until officially meet at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

“It was 100% love at first sight,” said the couple in a Billboard interview.

Before they went public with their relationship, they had helped each other on projects. Rosalia sang background vocals on “Dile à El” for Rauw’s first album. He also co-wrote some lyrics for Rosalia’s song “Chicken Teriyaki.”

They first went public when Rosalia posted a Tik Tok of them in a living room where Rosalía does a heart-shaped pose with Rauw. In 2021, they went to their first red carpet together at Los 40 Music Awards in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

They also got matching tattoos with the letters “RR,” which is now the name of the album cover.

They spent all of summer 2022 in Greece, taking a break from their busy schedules and spending time together. They went to the 2022 Latin Grammys, and were seen having a fun time dancing. Rosalia won Album of the Year there for her Motomami album. To close off 2022, the couple spent all New Year’s together in Japan with other friends.

After the couple announced their engagement through “Beso’s” music video, they performed at Coachella. The couple sang their new song, “Beso” and “Vampiros.”

Rosalia and Rauw are looking forward to this new chapter in their life.
