If you walk down the school hallways right now, you will probably hear people talking about a new movie. But it isn’t a superhero film or a scary movie. It’s actually a documentary called You Can See Everything, and almost everyone is talking about it. Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, this movie is making a ton of money at the box office and leaving viewers super confused. The movie starts with a wild idea: just 34 days before she has to go to federal prison, Elizabeth Holmes, a famous Silicon Valley boss who defrauded investors, allows a camera crew follow her around everywhere. What starts as a simple look at her daily life quickly turns into a weird, multi-year mind game.

People leaving the theater emerge with various points of view.
“I really didn’t know what to expect before going in,” said Leo Vance, while walking into the theater. “You think you already know her story because it was on the news for years, but watching it through this movie feels so strange. It feels less like a regular news story and more like a scary movie.”
Another viewer, Maya Lin, said she was worried because the movie is almost three hours long, but she ended up loving it anyway.
“The directors have a weird way of making you feel really uncomfortable. You are always sitting there wondering what is real and what is fake. It’s crazy that they caught all of that on camera,” she added.
Most people agree that You Can See Everything breaks all the normal rules for documentaries. Instead of just giving you a bunch of boring facts, it shows how strange people act when they get caught and try to fix their reputation.
Whether it wins big movie awards or just stays a popular trend, You Can See Everything proves that real life can be much weirder than made-up stories. If you want a movie that will give you and your friends plenty to talk about, you should definitely check this one out.
