Mora Performs at One of the Most Anticipated Concerts of the Year

The Puerto Rican Artist, Mora performed before fans at the FPL Amphitheater next to Bayside.

Known as a singer-songwriter and producer who gained popularity with the release of “Volando,” a remix  featuring Bad Bunny and Sech, Puerto Rican artist Mora, whose real name is Gabriel Mora Quintero, performed a highly anticipated concert at the FPL Solar Amphitheater in Miami May 13th, 2023. “Volando,”  a song with over 500 million streams, is just one part of his repertoire, having also collaborated with notable artists such as Lunay, Farruko, Jhay Cortez, and Mariah.

Mora has a total of three albums to his name including Microdosis, Paraíso, and Primer Día de Clases. Another popular track is “La Inocente,” along with “Feid,” which has  over 400 million streams.

The show began with the song “Blackout,” which combines elements of house and Latin music. 

During the two-hour concert, Mora surprised his fans by bringing out two surprise guest artists.

Papao and Polimá joined him on stage, each performing one of their own songs. Polimá, in particular, sang his hit track, “Ultra Sola,” leaving the crowd thrilled.

The concert showcased an impressive production, including lighting effects and energetic backup dancers. The crowd was ecstatic, with everyone jumping and dancing throughout. Tickets prices ranged from $70 to $300, accommodating a variety of seating preferences. 

Despite being in the lawn section, many attendees, like sophomore Isa Torres, expressed satisfaction with their views and overall experience.

“I was in the lawn section and I don’t regret buying the tickets from there. I still had a great time and could see Mora perfectly,” said sophomore Mariana Ortega Ruiz

Fans from ILS attended the concert and had a fantastic time. The opportunity to enjoy Mora’s music was a memorable experience for many students.  

Mora’s captivating songs and exciting live performances have helped establish his reputation as a key figure in the Puerto Rican music scene.

“My favorite part of the concert was probably when he sang ‘Memorias’ at the end because the crowd reaction was  amazing,” said sophomore Isabella Torres.
