Paranormal activity refers to strange events that can’t easily be explained, like ghost sightings, unusual noises, or objects moving on their own. Many people are interested by these phenomena and explore haunted places, often joined by ghost hunters. A ghost hunter’s main goal is to gather evidence of ghosts or other supernatural things. In Miami, there are many ghost tours in places like the Biltmore Hotel located in Coral Gables and also at some historic cemeteries.

In the mansion and garden, many visitors have reported eerie things happening to them such as feeling something brushing against their leg or a sudden drop in temperature. Visitors also have  recorded voices of some of the spirits residing there, claiming it typically happens during phone calls which are interrupted.

Many ghost hunters appear there using there EMF meters (devices that detect AC electromagnetic fields) according to a Vizcaya Security Guard.

“I didn’t really know much about Vizcaya’s history, but  with what I’ve been told about it, it seems plausible to assume there’s at least a little something there,” said sophomore Michael Tirador.
