Katerina Garcia, Co-Editor In Chief and Social Media Editor
As a senior, Kat is in her third year at the Royal Courier. She was editor-in-chief of the yearbook her sophomore year at ILS and will now be editor-in-chief of the Royal Courier in her senior year. She loves the write and loves going to concerts.
Valentina Lanza, Opinion and Podcast Editor
As a senior, Valentina is a well-rounded student committed to her ballet training and academics. She is currently in her second year of the Royal Courier. She’s an active member of ILS clubs and currently teaches ballet at her aunts dance studio. In the community Valentina leads Girl Scouts at her local church with character development and badge earning.
Brecelis Valdes, Entertainment Editor and Advice Columnist
In her second year at the Royal Courier, Senior Bri enjoys working with young kids from Little Haiti as president of the ADMA Club. She is also interested in pursuing a career in Medicine in the future.
Miguel Suarez-Cabal, Feature and News Editor
A drama club connoisseur who has acted as well stage manager many shows, Miguel Suarez-Cabal has a passion for writing especially for the royal courier. He is returning to the royal courier for his second and senior year of journalism.
Alexandra Perez, Co-Editor In Chief and Social Media Editor
Better known as Ali, for her senior year she is focused on developing her writing skills and spending time with friends. Ali has been a part of the Royal Courier since sophomore year, beginning as a writer and working her way up to editor in chief.
Thomas Sluijters, Writer
Thomas Sluijters, a sophomore, plays tennis and belongs to both the Stock and Portuguese clubs.
Ms. Cristina Ramirez, Adviser
Ms. Ramirez, the Media Department Chair, and Lexus Corporate Run Team Captain, is in her fourth year advising the Royal Courier and her third for iNklings, the literary magazine, having earned at BA in Broadcast Journalism at Loyola University, New Orleans, and an MS in Student Media Advising at FIU. She began her journalism endeavors in middle school at St. Timothy, and continued in high school where she was Editor-in-Chief for the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto.
