Hello Royals, Here is the Sports Report.
Boys Volleyball: The boys volleyball team had a strong week, going 2–0 with two impressive victories. They opened the week with a big win over Mater Lakes, 25–23, 25–13, 25–15, showing strong control after a tight first set. The team kept the momentum going later in the week, defeating American Heritage in four sets 25–18, 25–23, 16–25, 25–13. It was a well-rounded performance by the squad as they continue to build momentum this season.
Tennis: The girls tennis team had a strong showing this week, earning an impressive 7–0 victory over Florida Christian School. Later in the week, they faced a tough challenge against Doral and fell 7–1. The boys also took on Doral but came up short in their matchup.
Baseball: Baseball went 1–2 on the week, picking up a solid 7–4 win over Keys Gate. The team then faced two strong programs, dropping competitive matchups to Belen and Coral Gables. Despite the results, the group continued to compete hard against quality opponents and will look to build on the win as they move into the next stretch of games.
Softball: The softball team dropped a tough game to Marathon this week but will look to bounce back as the season continues. With conference playoffs approaching, the team is hopeful for another opportunity to face Marathon and compete for a different result. Before that, the focus shifts to getting back on track with a strong week ahead.
Beach Volleyball: Beach Volleyball went 1–1 this week, picking up a strong 4–1 win over Miami Beach before falling in a nail-biter to Coral Gables, 3–2. The team competed hard in both matches and continues to show progress as the season moves forward.
Track: After Friday’s meet was rained out, a smaller group of our athletes returned on Saturday to compete in the make-up meet at the Track Writ Cup. Despite the quick turnaround and limited roster, the athletes who made the trip represented the team well, stepping up to compete and continuing to build momentum for the season. It was a great opportunity for those who competed to gain valuable experience and continue improving. We’re excited about the progress the team is making and look forward to seeing the full squad back in action as we head into the next stretch of the season.a
