The University of Miami football team is working hard this season as the players look to build on their success and compete at a high level. The team has been putting in extra work during practices and believes that teamwork will be important as the season continues.
Junior Juan Quiros is optimistic.
“I feel good about the season so far. I think we have a really good team this year, and we have been working hard every day to get better. I’m expecting us to make it back to the national championship and hopefully finish the job this time. We just have to stay focused, keep working together, and take it one game at a time,” he said.
The players have also noticed a difference in the team compared to previous seasons. Junior Alejandro Feria explained the reasons behind the apparent improvements.
“I think the team is different this year because we have been putting in a lot more work. We have had longer days and spent more hours trying to get better and perfect our craft,” hesaid.
Alejandro also believes the team still has work to do before it reaches its biggest goals.
“I don’t think we are completely ready for the state title yet, but if we continue working together as a team and keep pushing each other, I believe we will be ready to compete at that level,” he said.
Junior Santiago Colimodio also shared one of his favorite moments from the season so far.
“Seeing Malachi Rooney score a touchdown was a really exciting moment for the team, and everyone was celebrating and supporting him,” he said.
As the season continues, the team will have to keep practicing and working together. The players know that reaching their goals will take effort, teamwork, and staying focused throughout the season.
