Miami Dade Honors is having virtual sessions to inform possible future students

Miami-Dade Honors is hosting informative sessions, to provide valuable information to those who may be interested in applying.
The sessions will take place on Tuesday October 27th, Tuesday November 17th, Tuesday December 15th, and Thursday January 7th. All sessions will take place on Microsoft Teams from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm eastern time.
Applications for Miami-Dade Honors opened on October 1st, 2020 and the deadline is January 15th, 2021. If you apply after January 15th your application will be viewed on a limited space available basic. Final deadline will be March 10th, 2021.
Miami-Dade Honors College is a learning community for those who are academically gifted and motivated leaders. The program offers a network of relationships that allow students to learn new ideas, collaborate with faculty and develop into advanced leaders.
Honors students will earn an Associated of Arts degree with honors and are ready to transfer into a four year institution where they will earn their bachelor’s degree. The Honors College’s Dual Language program is offered only at the Padron campus. The program is designed for students who are advanced in both English and Spanish and who wants to use there languages academically and professionally.
Those who apply are evaluated by there background, personal qualities, academic preparation and life experience. Applicants must demonstrate a high standardization test scores and grade point average (GPA).
The minimum preferred GPA is a 3.5 (weighted or unweighted). Applicants must also have score well on there Sat or Act. Act, Reading 19, Math, 19, and English 19. Sat, reading 245, math 242 and writing 245.
The Honors College operates on all four Miami-Dade College campuses: Kendall Campus, North Campus, Padron Campus and Wolfson Campus. Miami-Dade Honors College is excited to find out who will be attending there program school year.
