Senior Outdoor Graduation Update

Administration is working very hard to give this years senior class a beautiful Commencement Ceremony. It will be an outdoor event so with weather permitting, the graduation will take place on Monday, May 24th.

If weather does not permit to have it that evening, the event will be moved to the following day, Tuesday May 25th. However, administration is remaining hopeful that it will happen on the 24th, the day of the Feast of Mary Help of Christians.

Administration is working hard to make sure that this event will follow all safety guidelines to ensure the safety of the senior class and their families. Seniors are very appreciative of their efforts in allowing this year to have some normalcy.

“This year has been everything but normal but knowing we are gonna be able to have a graduation gives the  senior class one normal thing and I’m very grateful,” says senior Melanie Remond.

The ceremony would start at 7:00pm and will take place on the ILS Field. Each graduate will receive two tickets.

The entire event and mass will be live streamed. The Baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Wenski.

Administration hopes the senior class continues to follow safety guidelines in and outside of school so when the time comes, they will be able to attend their graduation. Sr. Kim has told the senior class to not forget what is important with so little time until they leave ILS.

“Leaving ILS, a place that has been my home is going to be very hard so I’m happy that my class and I will be able to properly celebrate our accomplishments and the years we have spent together,” says senior Sophia Rabelo.

As graduation day gets closer, more details will be finalized and the seniors will be kept updated.
