Enjoy the Best of Fall season in Miami

Antonella Velasquez, Editor-in-Chief

Miami may not have orange and red leaves or cold temperatures, but we still have amazing pumpkin patches, festivals, and a variety of local events to celebrate with family and friends, Miami style. Here are your top 10 activities.

1. South Beach Seafood Festival

Like seafood? If you’re in South Florida, you don’t have much of a choice. And even if your taste buds rest more upon land, South Beach Seafood weekend might convert you thanks to a week’s worth of showcases featuring dozens of our city’s tastiest seafood restaurants such as Joe’s Stone Crab and RED South Beach. It all culminates with the giant 10th Annual South Beach Seafood Festival’s main event October 22. Bring an appetite and possibly a bib.

2. Haunted Circus Festival: Spooky Wonderland

From the company that brought us last year’s Haunted Circus Festival—a traveling sideshow and carnival filled with all kinds of freakish characters—comes this Alice in Wonderland-themed Halloween spectacular. More kooky than bone-chilling, the whimsical story follows Alice down the rabbit hole to meet a host of well-known characters, including the Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, White Rabbit and other familiar faces.

Summon your scream squad to Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, The World’s Premier Halloween Event#. Face 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, two live shows and some of Universal Studios Florida’s most exciting attractions. Whether you’re a superfan, here for the snacks or selfies, scared of everything or skeptical of everyone, never go alone.
