The ILS campus is also decorated to reflect the fall season.

As the leaves begin to change color and the outside cools-well, not in Miami, but certainly everywhere else!, there’s that sense of feeling that autumn is around the corner. When autumn comes around, there is no better feeling than being cozy. Having a hot fall drink, while enjoying your favorite treat, gets everyone eager to binge off of fall movies. The season of autumn, with its colorful leaves and fresh air, is ideal for storytelling. Fans tend to be drawn to the movie theaters because of  the change of scenery around, the wearing of warm sweaters, and the various pumpkin-flavored sweets. These movies normally capture the atmosphere of the time, guiding audiences to beautiful fall settings, where the world experiences a glorious change.

Autumn radiates a unique and unbearable charm, an atmosphere of reminiscent and reflected in the change of leaves, the scent of bonfires, and the thought of approaching holidays. Fall-themed movies capture the mood by giving the audience a way to experience the season’s joys while lounging in a cozy area or going and watching it in a movie theater.

Let’s explore what some ILS students think.

Senior, Royce Adeniken: “To me Halloween Town is one of the best movie choices for me to watch during the season due to it being nostalgic to me.”

“My all time go to snack when watching a fall movie is most definitely cherry twizzlers, gold fish, kettle corn popcorn, and a Coke Slurpee,” said senior Jeremy Gonzalez.

For senior Megan Proaño: “My favorite fall movie to watch during the season is Se7en because I enjoy getting spooked and attached to the movie.”

After gathering everyone’s thoughts on fall movies, it is safe to say that fall movies are a huge hit for movie watching. Fall movies tend to bring out excitement, jump scares, fears, or even joy, leading audiences to become more engaged in the film.
